Does it hurt?
Of course it hurts (duh) to some degree, but as for how much it will hurt you I cant say as everyone has a different threshold or opinion of what it feels like.

Where does it hurt the most?
There is not really anyway to say that it will hurt in any one particular part of the body anymore or less than another part. Because it really comes down to personal opinion again. e.g.: Miss Q gets a tattoo on her lower back then gets another on her shoulder. In Miss Q opinion it was more sensitive on her lower back. Mr X gets tattooed on the same places on his body but in his opinion the tattoo on his shoulder was more intense.

How much does a tattoo cost?
The cost of tattoos depends on the design. i.e.: Size, Complexity, Time. As of October 1st 2010 Tattoo Freaky has a $100 minimum. With designs that can be finished in a couple of sittings we generally give an estimate but big on going tattoos are charged at on hourly rate of $130 per hour.

How do I look after my new tattoo?
Aftercare for your new tattoo is pretty simple.

Wash with soapy water. Taking care to remove any dried blood etc.
Apply thin layer of Protat or Bepanthen 2-3 times daily for 1 week.
NO SUN.
NO SWIMMING.
DO NOT pick your new tattoo.
DO NOT let others touch your new tattoo.

Can I get it taken off in a few years if I don’t want it anymore?
Although tattoo removal technology is getting better all the time with laser treatment, it is a slow and painful not to mention expensive exercise to get tattoos removed.

How much do your tattoo guns cost?
For a start they are called MACHINES not guns, guns go bang. Cost of tattoo machines depends on where you get them. WE DO NOT SELL TATTOO SUPPLIES.

Why do tattoo studios have a minimum charge?
Most tattoo studios nowadays have a minimum charge, which can range anywhere from $60-$200+ The reason for the charge is to at least cover the set up cost to do the tattoo. Like the needle cost, ink trays/caps etc.. Basically it is just not cost effective to be tattooing little Chinese symbols for $5.

What are the chances of getting an infection?
If your tattoo is carried out in the correct environment and you carry out the correct aftercare infection wont be an issue.

Can I go swimming after getting my tattoo?
No, not until it has finished healing. Generally after about one week.

Do colour’s fade?
Yes colour’s can fade just like any pigment can fade from UV exposure and your body can break down the pigment particles over years and absorb the particles passing them through your body and disposed off as waste. Of course this can take years for anything notice to happen and you can add to the longevity of your colour by protecting them as much as possible while out in the sun.

Do you prefer to do colour or black and gray tattoos?
I don’t have any real preference over one or the other, but I do prefer tattooing pictures over tribal, as I find tribal a bit boring just filling in all the black.
